The Attorney-General's Department has announced a further delay to the commencement date for the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (Cth), which was due to start from 31 October 2011.
Although a new date has not been confirmed, it is expected to be 30 January 2012. Beyond this date legislative amendments would be required and a date during the Christmas rush of November/December is probably unlikely.
